Remember To Celebrate The Small Stuff!!!

Madeline recently turned six months old, and I couldn’t help but celebrate the occasion – LOL!!  🙂  We didn’t do anything big, but I did make her a fun party hat!!  I wish the picture below didn’t turn out blurry, but I love the look on Madeline’s face!   She looked so happy!!!

All I did was find a leftover party hat (originally from the Dollar Tree) and recovered it with some construction paper that I already had in my craft room.  I then glued a cotton ball on the top and called it a day.  We put Madeline in our favorite pajamas (I actually have the matching ones – LOL) and took her picture with the party hat on.  This was extremely easy, but it was important to me to celebrate this important milestone.  We sung happy birthday to her, and then gave her a big smooch.  Sweet, simple and to the point.  🙂

It probably seems silly to a lot of people, but I will absolutely treasure this picture forever!  Even if you don’t want to make anything or take a picture, please make sure and take time to celebrate the small stuff!!!  The famous phrase “babies don’t keep” is incredibly true, so make sure you enjoy this short season of life.  🙂  The whole event probably took ten minutes total to pull off, but I will have the memories forever.  🙂
