The Great Pumpkin – A Fun Halloween Tradition For Your Child

One of the traditions that we had in our house growing up was that the “Great Pumpkin” came to visit every year.  When we were little, he would leave a trick or treating basket full of lots of yummy candy.  As we got older, he left even more fun stuff, such as a little shopping money.  🙂  Even though I am now grown, I still receive one of these wonderful gifts every year.  Also, to this day, my mother denies that she is in fact the “Great Pumpkin.”  This past year was no different, and now even Lucy receives her treat every Halloween (which she LOVES).

Since 2016 was Madeline’s first Halloween, the “Great Pumpkin” decided to leave her a gift as well.  It just so happened to coincide with our visit to my parent’s home in Tennessee.  I am sure that this is completely coincidental!!!  🙂  🙂  🙂
